All sales are final

We do not accept returns. Please read this page before you buy, not after — once your payment confirms, the sale is complete and cannot be unwound.

No returns, no exchanges

Every sale is final. We do not accept returns or exchanges, and we do not offer refunds for change of mind.

This applies however soon after delivery you decide, and whatever the reason — you found one cheaper, you no longer want it, it did not suit the collection, someone talked you out of it. None of those get the sale reversed.

We are explicit about this because you are paying in cryptocurrency, which is irreversible on its own. Between the two, there is no mechanism to undo a completed purchase. Buy accordingly.

Ask everything first

Since you cannot send it back, the time to be thorough is before you pay. We would far rather answer twenty questions than sell to someone who regrets it.

Ask for more photographs, from any angle, in any light. Ask about a flaw you think you can see. Ask us to check a measurement. Verify the grading certificate directly with the grading authority — the number is on the lot page. Ask why we priced it where we did.

Email enquiries@hobbymannor.com. An allocation is held for you until the date on your card, so taking a few days to get comfortable costs you nothing.

What is still covered

Three things are not returns, and finality does not touch them. If any of these happens, we make it right.

The item is not authentic. Guaranteed for as long as you own it, with no time limit. If the relevant grading authority or a recognised independent expert determines that something we sold you is not genuine, we refund the full purchase price on its return and reimburse the reasonable cost of the assessment that established it. See how we authenticate.

The item is materially not as described. If what arrives differs in a way that matters from what we told you — wrong reference, wrong grade, undisclosed damage, a repair we failed to mention — tell us within 3 days of delivery with photographs. We collect it at our cost and refund you in full.

It never arrives, or arrives damaged. Risk stays with us until the item is in your hands. If it is lost or damaged in transit, you get a full refund. The insurance claim is ours to pursue, not yours. See shipping and insurance.

What does not qualify: minor handling marks consistent with the stated grade and the age of the piece. Collectibles are used objects with histories, and we describe condition honestly including flaws. Disappointment that an item looks its age is not a misdescription.

How a refund is paid, if one is due

In the covered cases above, we refund the dollar value you paid — not the number of coins you sent — in the same asset, at the exchange rate on the day we issue it.

So if you paid $8,000 worth of Bitcoin and Bitcoin has risen since, you receive $8,000 worth back, which is fewer coins than you sent. If it has fallen, you receive more. We sell collectibles; we do not take a position on the price of the asset you paid us in, in either direction.

Refunds go only to an address you give us in writing, which we confirm with you directly before sending anything. We will never accept a change of refund address on the strength of a single unverified email.

Your rights under state law

This policy is disclosed to you before purchase, as US state law requires of a seller who does not accept returns, and you are asked to acknowledge it at checkout.

Nothing on this page limits any right you have under applicable federal or state law, including the implied warranties that attach to a sale of goods. Where this policy and a right the law gives you conflict, the law governs.
