How we authenticate

Cards are graded by PSA, BGS, or CGC before we list them. We do not grade in-house and we do not sell raw cards as though they were graded. The certificate number appears on the lot page, on your allocation card, and on your invoice.

Every one of those graders publishes a free certificate lookup. Put the number in before you pay. If what you see does not match what we said, walk away and tell us.

Reference watches are inspected by an independent watchmaker who is not an employee of this business and is not paid according to whether a sale completes. They check movement, case, dial, hands, and bracelet against the reference, and produce a written condition report.

You get that report with the lot, including anything unflattering in it. A serviced movement, a replaced crystal, a polished case, aftermarket parts — all of it is stated. A watch with a documented service history is worth more than one with an unexplained gap, so hiding it would not even be in our interest.

Rare-release footwear is authenticated on construction, materials, stitching, and label detail against known-good reference pairs, and cross-checked against the production run for that colourway and size. Where a pair has passed through a third-party authentication service, we say which and include the tag.

For each lot we publish the ownership chain we actually hold: where we acquired it, from whom where we are permitted to say, and what documentation came with it.

Where the chain has a gap, we say so. A stated gap costs less than a discovered one, and a dealer who claims unbroken provenance on every single piece is telling you something about their record-keeping rather than about their inventory.

Items we cannot trace to a legitimate source. Items where the grading is disputed and unresolved. Items whose paperwork does not match the piece. Anything we would have to describe in a way that requires a footnote to stay true.

We turn down more than we take. That is the job.

Every item is guaranteed authentic and as described for as long as you own it, with no expiry. If that ever turns out to be wrong, you get your money back and we cover the cost of the assessment that proved it.

This is the one promise that survives everything else. We do not accept returns and all sales are final — but finality applies to changing your mind, never to us having sold you something that is not what we said it was.
